NZCC clay is one of the strongest and purest Ceramic clays found in the world. It is specifically mined from an undisclosed mountain in New Zealand.
Using this clay means that we get the strongest porcelain quality with the most vibrand color possible.
Nope! Similar to lead, cadmium is a heavy metal that can pose risks when present in food-grade products. Our top priority is to offer safe and healthy items, which is why we strictly avoid using cadmium in both our glazes and clay.
Our ceramics undergo a manual glazing process, which means that there may be some variations in color. Factors such as the water content in the glaze, firing duration, and glaze thickness can contribute to these variations. Each item possesses its own unique characteristics.
Additionally, it is important to note that our natural glaze can exhibit color changes based on the lighting conditions. To demonstrate the range of color variations, we have included pictures of our products taken under different lighting setups. However, it is worth considering that the color representation on computer screens can differ and may not precisely match the actual product.
Our ceramics have the ability to endure high temperatures, as they are all designed to be fired at 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. This means that all of our ceramics are suitable for use in ovens, even when exposed to broiler temperatures. However, we recommend that the ceramics are not excessively cold prior to being placed in the oven, as this helps prevent sudden and drastic temperature changes.
